The dollar slipped as investors weighed the possibility that US President Donald Trump’s latest tariffs could limit the country’s growth potential. Treasuries slipped.
USD/JPY rose 0.3% to 150.97, outperforming as the Trump’s latest announcement to slap a 25% tax on Japanese auto imports hit home the prospect that the Japanese economy will suffer from tariffs, keeping the Bank of Japan cautious on raising interest rates
