Morning Juice – US Session Prep (23rd July)

Sentiment
A gauge of the dollar stabilized, while risk-sensitive FX outperformed, as US trade-deal announcements supported equity markets. Treasury yields ticked higher, led by the long end.

USD/JPY erased a 0.3% drop to trade flat at 146.67. US and Japan came to a trade agreement, and Japanese PM Ishiba denied resignation reports.

EUR/USD declined 0.2% to 1.1727. The euro’s volatility skew continues to tilt in favor of calls, signalling that options traders are positioning for the common currency to challenge its year-to-date highs.
