Morning Juice – US Session Prep (15th September)

Sentiment
The dollar declined as investors prepared for a Fed meeting later this week that is widely anticipated to kick off a series of rate cuts. Treasuries were little changed. Equities began the week on an upbeat note.

French bonds underperformed their southern European peers on Monday as a credit downgrade by Fitch Ratings highlighted the market impact of the political turmoil facing President Macron.

Morgan Stanley strategists continue to lean toward their bull case for the S&P 500 to rally to 7,200 points by mid next year, underpinned by a rebound in earnings and easing policy uncertainty.
