Morning Juice – Europe Session Prep

Good Morning Traders.
It is Wednesday the 24th of September. Here is what to look out for today.

Sentiment
A gauge of Australia’s monthly inflation accelerated in August to the top of the Reserve Bank’s 2-3% target, supporting the case for interest rates to remain on hold and sending the currency higher. New Zealand named Anna Breman as die new Reserve Bank governor, appointing a woman to the role for the first time as it seeks to refresh an institution damaged by the unexpected departure of predecessor Adrian Orr earlier this year. Breman, who is currently First Deputy Governor of Sweden’s Riksbank, will start a five-year term on Dec. 1. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said the outlooks for die labor market and inflation face risks, reiterating his view that policymakers likely have a difficult road ahead as they weigh further interest-rate cuts. US President Donald Trump offered broad support for Argentine leader Javier Milei in New York during their first bilateral meeting, but stopped short of providing details about financial aid for the South American government. China will no longer claim the special treatment available to developing nations at the World Trade Organization, removing a point of contention with the US that’s been one barrier to the two nations agreeing on reforming the global trade forum.
