Morning Juice – Europe Session Prep

Good Morning Traders.
It is Monday the 6th of October. Here is what to look out for today.

Sentiment
Japan’s stocks rose and its yield curve steepened, after the surprise victory of pro-stimulus lawmaker Sanae Takaichi damped expectations of an immediate rate hike by the Bank of Japan. The yen slid against other major currencies, hitting a record low versus the euro. French President Emmanuel Macron’s decision to appoint a broadly unchanged cabinet sparked an immediate backlash from opposition parties, undermining Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu’s chances of surviving a make-or-break week in parliament. Oil gained after OPEC+ agreed to raise production by a modest amount, staving off traders’ fears of a super-sized increase.
