Good Morning Traders.
It is Wednesday the 22nd of October. Here is what to look out for today.

Sentiment
China convened an unusually large meeting with foreign businesses in an effort to reassure them that its new rare earth export controls aren’t meant to restrict normal trade – evidence policymakers are trying to calm a backlash over the move. Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has ordered a fresh package of economic measures aimed at easing the burden of inflation on households and companies. The rout in gold and silver showed signs of easing. Gold dropped 0.3% after losing as much as 2.9% in early Asian trade, after suffering its biggest intraday decline in more than a dozen years on Tuesday. Silver edged higher following its 7.1% drop in the prior session.. India and the US are nearing a trade deal that could lower tariffs on Indian exports to 15%-16% from about 50%, the Mint newspaper reported, citing three unidentified people aware of the matter. President Donald Trump stressed that India would wind down its purchases of oil from Russia, claiming for the second straight week that he spoke directly about the matter with Prime Minister Modi. Japan’s exports rose for the first time in five months as shipments of chips and electronic parts advanced, while goods destined for the US continued to decline amid President Donald Trump’s tariffs.
