Morning Juice – US Session Prep (10th November)

Sentiment
Global markets rallied Monday as growing confidence that U.S. lawmakers are nearing a deal to end the record-long government shutdown sparked a wave of risk-on buying across stocks, commodities, and crypto.

Equities rebound: S&P 500 futures rose 0.9%, while Nasdaq 100 contracts jumped 1.5%, recovering from their worst week since April. Nvidia led megacap tech gains, climbing more than 3% in premarket trading.

Shutdown optimism lifts sentiment: Reports that Senate Democrats joined Republicans to advance a funding bill boosted hopes for a quick resolution — a move that would restore access to key economic data and clarify the Fed’s policy outlook.

Risk assets surge: Oil, industrial metals, and Bitcoin all advanced, while Europe’s Stoxx 600 headed for its best day since June.

Bonds and gold diverge: Treasury yields rose, with the 10-year at 4.12%, reflecting reduced demand for safe havens. Yet gold climbed, supported by expectations the Fed could cut rates next month.
