Morning Juice – Europe Session Prep
Good Morning Traders.
It is Tuesday the 9th of December. Here is what to look out for today.
Sentiment
Australia’s central bank kept its key interest rate unchanged for a third straight meeting in a widely expected decision, while reiterating that future moves will hinge on incoming economic data. President Donald Trump granted Nvidia Corp. permission to ship its H200 artificial intelligence chip to China in exchange for a 25% surcharge, a move that lets the world’s most valuable company potentially regain billions of dollars in lost business from a key global market. Australian business confidence declined further in November ahead of the Reserve Bank’s final policy meeting of the year, when it is widely expected to keep its key interest rate unchanged. Japanese Finance Minister Katayama said she is closely watching market trends, as the yield on 10-year government debt hovers near 2%, a level not seen since 2006.
