Morning Juice – US Session Prep (30th January)
Sentiment
The dollar rose, and Treasuries fell after reports said Trump was preparing to nominate Kevin Warsh as the next Federal Reserve chair, a choice traders view as relatively more hawkish than other candidates. Trump later confirmed the decision in a post on Truth Social.
Equity funds recorded outflows for a second consecutive week, led once again by China, while bonds, cash and gold saw inflows, according to Bank of America.
