Morning Juice – US Session Prep (23rd February)
Sentiment
The dollar fell against most Group of 10 peers as President Donald Trump’s latest tariff plans revived concerns about US policy direction and the appeal of US assets. Treasuries were steadier, with the benchmark 10-year yield down one basis point.
The pound led gains among G10 currencies, rising 0.25% against the dollar alongside the Swiss franc. The euro and yen gained 0.21% and 0.18%, respectively.
German bunds were little changed after Ifo business climate data came in stronger than expected.
