Oil prices climbed for a second day after Saudi Arabia announced that its production capacity had been cut due to attacks on key infrastructure, but futures remain on course for their worst weekly loss since June.
Israel’s PM Netanyahu agreed to conduct talks with Lebanon, as Trump stated that the Israeli leader is “going to low-key it” with strikes on the war-torn country, indicating some hope for de-escalation.
Japanese Finance Minister Katayama said authorities are ready to act on all fronts in the market, taking into account the impact of currency movements on households and the economy.
