Morning Juice – US Session Prep (4th May)

Sentiment
US futures swung and oil surged as tensions in the Middle East flared, overshadowing strong megacap tech earnings.

Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 contracts fell as much as 0.5% after reports an American patrol boat was hit, before trimming losses as the US denied the claim. Brent jumped more than 5% above $113 per barrel before paring gains.
