Morning Juice – US Session Prep (27th August)

Sentiment
US equity futures rose after Nvidia delivered a stronger-than-expected outlook, reinforcing confidence that the AI investment cycle still has room to run. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 1.1% and S&P 500 futures rose 0.5%, while Nvidia jumped 6.5% after forecasting fiscal 2028 revenue growth well above expectations. Salesforce also rallied after its outlook eased concerns about its ability to compete in AI, while a $31 billion Kioxia-SanDisk joint venture added to optimism across semiconductors.

Treasuries edged lower, lifting the 10-year yield to 4.67%, while the dollar was little changed and gold held near $4,600. Attention now shifts to Jackson Hole, where Fed Chair Kevin Warsh will deliver his first major speech on Friday, with markets looking for clearer guidance on the policy outlook. Elsewhere, European equities were mixed, while wheat prices reached their highest since July 2023, keeping inflation risks in focus.
