Morning Juice – US Session Prep
Good Morning Traders.
It is Wednesday the 24th of January and here is what to look out for today.
Sentiment
This morning, US equities were poised to extend gains based on expectations for corporate earnings and China’s latest economic stimulus.
The dollar fell against all G-10 peers as strong corporate earnings and stock gains boosted risk-taking sentiment, reducing demand for safe-haven assets.
The yen rose alongside Japanese bond yields after traders interpreted Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda’s comments on Tuesday as hawkish.
