Morning Juice – US Session Prep

Morning, Traders!
It is Wednesday the 8th of May, here are some things to look out for.

Sentiment
US equity futures edged lower as this month’s rally stalled due to a lack of catalysts.
Treasury yields and the dollar gained.

After the S&P 500 gained 3% in May, investors are now unsure what comes next as earnings season winds down. US policymakers are signalling that bets on a shift to easier policy may be premature, with Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari saying the central bank will likely keep interest rates unchanged “for an extended period of time.”
