Morning Juice – US Session Prep

Morning, Traders!
It is Wednesday the 17th of July, here are some things to look out for today.

Sentiment
Global tech shares fell, with Nasdaq futures down this morning on fears that the US would impose harsher restrictions on Chinese trade and semiconductor technology.

Nvidia, Intel, and Apple all retreated in trading before the US exchanges opened. ASML Holding NV fell, with technology stocks also leading the decline in Europe.
The Biden administration is considering imposing the most severe trade restrictions possible if companies such as ASML continue to provide China with advanced semiconductor technology.
