Morning Juice – US Session Prep

Good Morning Traders.
It is Monday the 16th of September. Here is what to look out for today.

Sentiment
US equity index futures were marginally higher ahead of a crucial meeting by the Federal Reserve later this week. Contracts on the S&P 500 Index were up, while those on the Nasdaq 100 Index traded little changed in New York. US stocks just capped their best weekly performance since November amid debate over whether the US central bank will ease rates gradually or start with an outsized half-point cut.

Market focus this week is squarely on the start of a long-awaited US interest-rate easing cycle. Mixed economic data last week reignited debate over whether the central bank will ease gradually or start with an outsized half-point cut.
