Sentiment
Stocks rose around the world after the Federal Reserve cut interest rates by half a percentage point, reigniting investor sentiment.

US equity futures soared, with S&P 500 contracts up 1.6%, putting the underlying benchmark on track to set a cash market record.
Nasdaq 100 contracts rose as much as 2.1%, driven by bets on strong American growth and lower borrowing costs.

The dollar index weakened, bringing it closer to its January lows.
Treasuries rose slightly as traders shifted their focus back to the labor market and US jobless claims data, which are due later.
Bitcoin reached a three-week high.
