Morning Juice – US Session Prep

Morning, Traders!
It is Wednesday the 30th of October, here are some things to look out for today.

Sentiment

US equity futures fluctuated as investors sifted through corporate earnings, with Microsoft and Meta Platforms reporting later in the day.
Gold and Bitcoin were trading near all-time highs.

Alphabet rose more than 5% in premarket trading after the Google parent’s earnings exceeded expectations, while Advanced Micro Devices fell 8% after a disappointing revenue outlook.
Eli Lilly fell 10% after sales of its top-selling weight-loss medication fell short of expectations.

With just a week until the Fed’s decision, investors are turning their attention to three high-profile reports from the United States that appear to show underlying economic resilience and a temporary hiccup in job growth.
They are also preparing for a too-close-to-call US presidential election on November 5th.
