Chinese lawmakers are gathering in the shadow of the US election to sign off on a fiscal package that would cost trillions of yuan but is unlikely to calm the market completely.
Oil prices rose after OPEC+ agreed to postpone its December output increase by one month, while tensions in the Middle East flared up again.
