Morning Juice – US Session Prep
Good Morning Traders.
It is Thursday the 8th of February and here is what to look out for today.
Sentiment
Stocks and bonds fluctuated this morning as investors digested a slew of corporate reports and prepared for the sale of 30-year US government bonds.
So far, markets have shrugged off concerns about the commercial real estate sector and accepted a string of warnings from Fed policymakers that a cut is unlikely until May at the earliest.
Nonetheless, traders have continued to pile into big tech stocks, propelling the S&P 500 index to a new high on Wednesday, bringing it closer to the 5,000 mark.
