Morning Juice – US Session Prep
Morning, Traders!
Happy Friday! It is the 9th of February, here are some things to look out for today.
Sentiment
Prior to the release of data on inflation revisions, US stock futures saw a slight increase on Friday morning, bringing the S&P 500 one more point closer to the all-time high of 5,000. The Yen dropped to its lowest level versus the dollar since late November on the belief that the Bank of Japan will take its time hiking rates. The dollar hovered near the highest level in over two months ahead of US inflation data due later Friday, which could add to bets that the Federal Reserve will wait until May to start cutting interest rates.
