Morning Juice – US Session Prep
Morning, Traders!
Happy Friday, it is the 14th of June, here are some things to look out for today.
Sentiment
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 are set to open lower after notching up record highs every day this week. A gauge of the dollar rose against major global currencies, while Treasury yields declined four basis points.
Following his party’s defeat in the European Parliament elections, French President Emmanuel Macron called a snap legislative election. European markets are becoming increasingly concerned that a victory for Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally party, which currently leads polls by a wide margin, will result in looser fiscal policies.
