Morning Juice – Europe Session Prep
Good Morning Traders! This Thursday we get the SNB and BoE rate decisions.
Here is what to expect for the day.
Sentiment
China set the daily reference rate for the yuan at its lowest level since November, indicating that regulators are easing their hold on the currency. Chinese banks maintained their benchmark lending rate for the tenth consecutive month, as pressure on the yuan limits authorities’ scope for easing.
New Zealand’s economy exited recession with a slight increase in the first quarter.
US Treasuries are on the verge of breaking even after a wild first half of the year. A barometer of returns in the world’s largest bond market is currently down only 0.1% for 2024, after losing up to 3.4% for the year in April.
