Morning Juice – US Session Prep
Good Morning Traders.
It is Wednesday the 11th of September. Here is what to look out for today.
Sentiment
Ahead of an important inflation report, US stock futures fell and bonds increased on worries that the Federal Reserve has been holding off on easing monetary policy for too long.
Concerns about the main nations’ faltering growth have reappeared as oil prices have fallen below $70 and global bond yields have reached a two-year low this week.
Investor focus is centred on the Fed policy meeting next week and the US consumer price index, which is expected to indicate another month of modest gains and is out later this Wednesday.
The highly anticipated inflation report will likely reveal that US consumer prices increased in August at the slowest rate in almost three years.
