Morning Juice – US Session Prep

Good Morning, Traders!
It is Monday the 23rd of September. Here is what to look out for today.

Sentiment
US stock index futures and the dollar gained this morning at the start of a fresh week which gives us a slew of Fedspeak and further data releases that will give us clues as to the direction of the US economy following the US’ large rate reduction last week.

Later today, Fed speakers including regional presidents Bostic and Goolsbee may provide new insight into the pace and scope of easing.
On Friday, the Fed’s preferred price metric and data on US personal spending will be closely watched.

The euro fell and German yields fell as weaker-than-expected data raised concerns that the region’s economic recovery has stalled, prompting bets on more aggressive rate cuts from the European Central Bank.
