In a phone conversation with Emmanuel Bonne, the diplomatic counsellor to the French president, Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed China’s hope that France would see the country’s economic and trade relations with the EU as positive and open.
Analysts and investors anticipate that Beijing would implement new fiscal stimulus totalling up to 2 trillion yuan ($283 billion) in an effort to support the world’s second-largest economy and increase confidence.
Vice President Antoine Martin says the Swiss National Bank may need to reduce borrowing prices once more due to the country’s output and inflation patterns.
