Morning Juice – US Session Prep
Good Morning Traders.
It is Thursday the 23rd of January. Here is what to look out for today.
Sentiment
Treasuries extend Wednesday’s steepening move with intermediate to long-end yields cheaper by lbp to 2.5bp and front end little changed, as crude oil rises for first day in five. The dollar was little changed as investors sought more clues about the timing and scale of US tariffs before pushing the greenback higher. US stock-index futures fell as investors awaited the weekly jobless claims report, halting a three-day rally that lifted the S&P 500 to the brink of its all-time high.
